"X 2-1/2"X 3-1/2" and covered in a beautiful soft green print from designer series paper. The dove and leaf design is carried over from the card as you can see in the photos. The box is then wrapped with a gold cord. I am really pleased with the simplicity and understatement of the design. This is a little different for me because I generally like things very complicated. Please leave me a comment if you like this design. As always thank you for visiting!
This is the second post I've made in the slideshow format. I don't know why it didn't occur to me before how well this works. . . I myself find it frustrating to have to scan down to see all the pictures and texts so I hope you like navigating this way as well. This is a custom made Confirmation card and gift box made for a special young woman. The card is made with Whisper White card stock as is the embossed floral frame that is attached to it with Stampin' Dimensionals. On top of that is the symbol of a "Dove" and Olive Branch punched out of Gold Glimmer paper with the Bird Builder punch. The envelope which is also Whisper White is stamped with the greeting "Congratulations" from the Curly Cute stamp set in Metallic Gold Encore ink. The box is 3-1/2

I read over my last post and realized, I have become very short and direct in my correspondence in part due to my job, where I started out writing "stories" instead of notes. The irony is that I am helping people with their emotions and need to record these interactions in a way that is direct and without emotion. Those of you who know me for my stories may have an idea of how different this is from my usual style of writing. I think without realizing it, I've kept myself in this mode in my other forms of writing.
In the greeting card business, words need to convey emotions so I would like to apologize and express how much I really appreciated everyone's support. I know some of you had very busy schedules and therefore your effort to make an appearance and show your (emotional as well as financial) support means an awful lot to me. You have made my business a goal worth pursuing. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. The following cards are by order only: This card is a baby announcement. I bought this really cute stamp set and am finally able to use it. I used Stampin' Up's card stock and designer series paper. The front of the card has a label that says "its a boy" with a teddy bear and a little onesie that I used crystal effects on. It's kind of hard to tell in the picture, sorry. I used a pinking shears on the edge of the polka dot strip and then added a brown satin ribbon. The outside of the envelope says "hello baby". On the inside of the card is an insert for you to put your baby's photo. I've repeated the designer sheet patterns and as you can see there's a stamped label for you to put baby's stats. I can do something similar for a baby girl announcement, although it would be "girlied" up. I will have more items for you to see tomorrow. . .
